The Duchess of Cambridge, née Kate Middleton, may seven months pregnant, but she isn't shying away from wearing figure-hugging outfits. The expectant royal was spotted leaving the Goring hotel on Monday after its 105th birthday celebration wearing a stretchy Erdem dress.
Kate also wore Erdem during her last pregnancy
The floral dress, titled the 'Darla' and with a £995 price tag, is not new season – it is from the label's Resort 2013 collection. Kate paired the striking number with Alexander McQueen navy pumps and a matching clutch by LK Bennett. The brunette was attending the event without her husband Prince William, who is on an official tour of China. The hotel is special to Kate — it's where she famously spent her last night before marrying Prince William in 2011.
The £995 Erdem 'Darla' dress
Kate's bump looked noticeably bigger since her last engagement in Staffordshire and the West Midlands in February. Her visit was not part of her official duties, and according to Kensington Palace she was attending in a private capacity after receiving a personal invite from the hotel. It's not the first time Kate has worn Erdem, who is a Canadian-born British-Turkish designer. Her Erdem debut was in 2011 during her and William's tour of North America following their wedding.
Kate wore Erdem again in 2012
Kate looked stunning in a black lace overlay dress as she attended a wreath laying ceremony in Ottawa. Then in 2012, the Duchess attended the annual Trooping the Colour Ceremony at Buckingham Palace wearing a pale blue Erdem dress with embroidered detailing. It's not the first time Kate has worn Erdem while pregnant, either. While she was seven months with Prince George, she wore a geometric black print shift for a visit to a Primary School in Manchester.
