Kristen Stewart is known for her love of laidback and casual outfits, but the 24-year-old has gone for a more tailored look in her latest campaign for Chanel. In the black and white images shot by the French fashion house's creative director Karl Lagerfeld, Kristen looks chic in a sleek black blazer and matching trousers, teamed with a loose white T-shirt for a nod to her effortlessly cool style.

The Twilight star models the 11.12 model of Chanel's iconic quilted bag, as she becomes the face of Chanel's spring handbag campaign 3 Girls 1 Bag, alongside French actress Vanessa Paradis and model Alice Dellal. "For me the iconic handbag is just like the House of Chanel," said Kristen in a statement. "Fundamental and modern." Meanwhile, Vanessa, who has been the face of previous Chanel campaigns, models The Girl bag. Alice Dellal's photos for The Boy bag see her go for an effortlessly cool androgynous look in an oversized shirt, with her hair slightly dishevelled for laidback luxe.

It comes as no surprise that Kristen is the face of Chanel's latest campaign. The American beauty partnered with the iconic French fashion house last year, and has been spotted wearing their designs on the red carpet for years. However, Kristen revealed that she had never imagined she would be working with the brand because of their different styles, but that there "is something about it that is fun, fierce". "Typically I wouldn't see myself as being the quintessential face of Chanel with the pearls and the classics," she told Grazia after announcing she would be working with the brand last year. "But I liked stepping into that role and this suits me a little bit more than past collections because it is very American."
