Cheryl Fernandez-Versini was catapulted to style icon status with her high fashion outfits when she was a mentor on The X Factor, and it seems that the 31-year-old is continuing her legacy. The British beauty turned heads as she arrived to judge L'Oréal Paris' The Brush Contest on Monday night, showing off her enviably toned legs in a black minidress by Issa.
Cheryl Fernandez-Versini unveiled a brand new look on Monday
Staying true to her fashion-forward style, Cheryl chose a gown which featured quirky scalloped lapels in a mint green shade, and navy block panel detailing down the front. The Fight For This Love singer completed the look with a pair of patent mint stiletto heels to add a touch of old Hollywood to her look. It wasn't just her stylish ensemble which that turned heads. Cheryl, who is currently brand ambassador for L'Oréal Paris, debuted a short sleek choppy bob, and opted to have her brunette locks dyed a striking deep shade of red, making for a fresh new look just in time for spring.

It's not the first time in the last few weeks that Cheryl has experimented with her hair. The Crazy Stupid Love singer surprised fans earlier this month when she revealed she had her long tresses cut in favour of a 70s-style look. Hairstylist Paul Percival, the man who worked the scissors, revealed that the change had been a 'spontaneous moment' for the star. "She's the bravest woman in the world because it was in the changing room [at the Graham Norton Show]," said Paul during an appearance on This Morning. "We had an hour and we literally cut the whole lot off – 14 inches – and totally changed her look."
