In Australia, there has been even more of a frenzy with a 208 per cent increase, as well as a 131 per cent sales increase for nude heels, to match the pair of nude Jimmy Choo pumps the Duchess wore.

She also wowed in yellow dresses during her royal tour of Australia and New Zealand with Prince William

It's not the first time that the British beauty has sparked a rise in sales of yellow dresses. In 2014 during her royal tour of Australia and New Zealand with Prince William and the couple's son Prince George, the Duchess wore two yellow dresses, causing a frenzy amongst royal enthusiasts wanting to copy her style. At the time, eBay noted a spike in yellow dress sales by 93 per cent.

Her chic and elegant outfits have fans constantly clamouring to copy her look, and 'The Kate Effect' strikes almost every time the Duchess steps out of the door. Earlier this year she caused a stir when she wore a £35 polka dot maternity dress from ASOS. The chic number was in stock in all sizes when Kate was initially spotted, but just minutes after the dress had been identified, it had completely sold out.
