Just a few hours after dazzling in white dresses on the Cannes Film Festival red carpet, Karlie Kloss and Doutzen Kroes made the most of being reunited and enjoyed a girls' night out. The pair headed together to the festival's opening ceremony dinner on Wednesday night, turning heads in their sultry ensembles.

The Victoria's Secret angels were matching in sleek black ensembles which showed off both of their enviably toned figures. Doutzen chose a striking little black dress featuring cut-out detailing, long sleeves and a high neckline. Meanwhile, Karlie opted for a strapless gown with bejewelled embellishment and a belted waist. Both supermodels completed their look with black stilettos.
Earlier in the day, the two blonde beauties were topping best-dressed lists around the world as they made a show-stopping entrance at the Standing Tall premiere in racy white Atelier Versace dresses. Doutzen showed off her high fashion style in a floor-length gown with a thigh-high slit as well as an asymmetrical slit across the bodice.

Karlie also showcased her style credentials and chose an edgy dress with shimmering silver embellishment on the cut-out bodice and skirt, wearing matching shorts and a white strapless top underneath. She completed her look with a pair of dazzling silver patent stilettos.
Although Doutzen was joined by husband Sunnery James for the premiere in the afternoon, she spent the evening enjoying some quality time with Karlie. No doubt the pair had a lot to catch up on – both models quit Victoria's Secret just days apart after years of being angels for the lingerie giant.
The brand's President and chief marketing officer Ed Razek took to Instagram to address their exits, highlighting that there was 'no animosity' between Victoria's Secret and the two angels. Describing Karlie as 'one of the best models ever' he later took to the photo-sharing site once more, this time to praise Doutzen who he said was 'one of the most stunningly beautiful people in the world'.
