Cannes Film Festival sees the world's most beautiful women hitting the red carpet in breathtaking gowns and dazzling jewellery. This year, stars including Natalie Portman, Natasha Poly and Aishwarya Rai all turned to luxurious jewellery brand de Grisogono to accessorise their designer dresses with show-stopping gems.

Black Swan star Natalie Portman topped best-dressed lists around the world when she arrived for the premiere of A Tale of Love and Darkness. The 33-year-old brunette beauty, who directed the film, wowed in a Dior strapless gown with a blue and black floral motif. She accessorised with a pair of de Grisogono Chiocciolina earrings for ultimate red carpet glamour.

Meanwhile, Aishwarya Rai was a vision in green as she arrived for the premiere of Carol, turning to red carpet king Elie Saab to design her shimmering floor-length emerald green gown. Chanelling old Hollywood with her hair side swept into waves, she completed her glamorous ensemble with a de Grisogono High Jewellery ring.

Russian beauty Natasha Poly also turned heads at the same premiere as she showed off her high fashion credentials on the red carpet. The model wore a dazzling sequinned bodysuit which she paired with a ballgown-esque skirt featuring a thigh-high slit to show off her enviable figure. She completed her high fashion ensemble, from Atelier Versace, with a pair of statement de Grisogono Polina earrings.
