Blake Lively has already conquered the world of fashion with her striking looks and high fashion personal style, and now the 27-year-old has taken her first step into the world of design. The former Gossip Girl star gave fans a glimpse of her new project, sharing a photo on Instagram of the very first dress she has designed.

"I may not be able to draw worth a lick, but I am proud of this dress I co-designed with Amour Vert for @preserve_us ," she wrote alongside a photo of herself wearing the gorgeous gown. "You better send me pics if you buy it! I want to share your photos!! #PRSRV so I see it…"
The pretty gown featured a cream sleeveless bodice with a tie-front, while the skirt is a light shade of pink with a purple pattern. Ever the fashionista, Blake completed the ensemble with a pair of candyfloss pink mary jane heels and wore her long locks down in tumbling waves.
The dress appears to be part of a new project as part of Blake's lifestyle website Preserve, which she launched last July after months of teasing fans.
The blonde beauty wrote an editor's letter for the website, explaining that it aims to capture "the power of imagination, ingenuity, quality and, above all, people."

It's no doubt been a busy few months for Blake as she and husband Ryan Reynolds adjust to parenthood after welcoming their first child, a girl named James, in December.
The actress, who kept a relatively low profile to spend quality time with the new arrival, recently opened up about her experience about becoming a mother.
"I feel like I've figured out the most important thing to me, and everything supports that," she told Allure magazine. She also revealed why the couple initially chose to keep their daughter's name a secret.
"It's her life," she explained. "She should have her privacy until she chooses not to have her privacy, just as I got to choose and my husband got to choose."
However Ryan has since revealed that the baby girl's name is in fact James, joking: "It's Butternut Summer Squash. No it's out there. It's James. Everyone knows."
