They may be used to rocking sportswear on the courts, but the Wimbledon ladies went for a glamorous look as they enjoyed a night off at the WTA pre-Wimbledon bash on Thursday night. Maria Sharapova, Laura Robson and Petra Kvitova were just some of the players who pulled out all the stops for the glitzy event at London hotspot Kensington Roof Gardens.
Maria Sharapova wowed in a Valentino embellished minidress
Maria Sharapova upped the high fashion style stakes as she arrived for the bash showing off her enviably slender figure in a show-stopping pink embellished minidress from Valentino's Spring 2015 collection. The blonde beauty accessorised with a pair of nude strappy heels and box clutch bag, and wore her hair down paired with minimal make-up for a fresh-faced look.
Meanwhile, jaws dropped when Laura Robson took to the red carpet. The 21-year-old could have just stepped out of old Hollywood as she arrived in a striking red minidress with capped sleeves, wearing her glossy brunette locks styled by ghd hair into 1920s-esque waves. Her accessories were equally glamorous, as she completed her dazzling ensemble with a pair of red stilettos and a sparkling black box clutch bag.
Laura Robson wowed with her old Hollywood-esque look
Laura wasn't the only British star who wowed on the red carpet – Heather Watson was the epitome of glamour as she stepped out in a colourful pleated minidress with a belted waist. She kept her accessories to a minimum save for a pair of colourful stilettos.
Also topping best-dressed lists was Ajla Tomljanovic, who showed off her incredible figure in a black halterneck jumpsuit, paired with a matching clutch bag with a silver clasp. The Croatian-Australian tennis star wore her long locks in a super straight and sleek style, finishing the look with a statement red lipstick for a classic red carpet look.
