July 22, 2015

She's a supermodel, former Victoria's Secret angel, baker, coder and a student at NYU, and now Karlie Kloss can add vlogger to her ever-growing list of accolades. The 22-year-old has launched a new channel on YouTube, Klossy, to give fans a behind-the-scenes glimpse at her hectic life from getting ready backstage at Fashion Week to joining Taylor Swift on stage.

Karlie announced the news on her Instagram account

"In 2005 I was 'discovered' and things got pretty crazy, pretty quickly," she revealed in the trailer video for the channel, launched with the help of fellow vlogger and close friend Casey Neistat.. "I'd be in second period chemistry one day, and then walking the Paris runways the next. Modelling became a major, major part of my life."

The teaser, which Karlie also shared on Instagram with her 2.8 million followers, sees the model filming everything from backstage secrets at the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show to glimpses of her beauty routine as she enjoys a night in of pampering.

With her already chock-block full hectic schedule, some fans questioned why the American model has taken on yet another major project, but Karlie revealed she wanted to do something different to the world of modelling.

"Modelling has kept me very busy but it's not my sole focus," she admitted.

"I've spent the majority of my life in front of the camera," she continued. "But not my camera. And that's where this is different. These are the things you didn't get to see before. Like, crazy things that happen on set, and the reeling moments before I step out on the runway."

There's no doubt that Karlie is no stranger to the world of filming – not only has she starred in countless video campaigns for major brands including L'Oréal Paris, but she also made a cameo in close friend Taylor's star-studded Bad Blood video alongside the likes of Cara Delevingne and Gigi Hadid.
