Gigi Hadid pulled off the ultimate surprise birthday party for her boyfriend Joe Jonas on Monday night. The young model, who has been dating Joe since May, hired out the Stubhub Center in Los Angeles for a girls vs guys football match – five days before his 26th birthday.
The model's surprise didn't end there though; Gigi gathered a group of their famous friends and family, including Joe's younger brother Nick, her sister Bella Hadid, best friend Kendall Jenner and Taylor Swift for the party, which they shared with their fans on social media.
Gigi Hadid surprised boyfriend Joe Jonas with a birthday party
"Thank you for the best surprise ever. I love All these people. #megasquad," Joe captioned a photo which shows the group of friends posing for a photo on the pitch, which is normally the home to David Beckham's former football team LA Galaxy.
The birthday boy later shared a series of polaroid photos including one which saw him cosying up to Gigi, who puckers up for the camera.
Gigi and Joe have been dating since May
"Thank you @nickjonas @gigihadid," he wrote.
Gigi enlisted the help of Nick to arrange the party, and the 22-year-old was no doubt happy to help after it recently emerged that she has been playing matchmaker for him following his split from Olivia Culpo.
Nick is said to be dating Kendall Jenner after recently being introduced by Gigi – whose reasons for matchmaking weren't totally selfless, according to Us Weekly.
Taylor Swift and Kendall Jenner also attended the party
"Gigi wants Kendall around all the time," a source told the publication. "She thinks it would be fun for all of them to hang out."
The pair are said to be getting to know each other better over text, and have apparently had "a flirty chemistry from the start". However the new couple weren't pictured together on Monday night, with Nick kneeling within "the squad" while model Kendall struck a pose lying on her side at the front of the group as they gathered for their team photo.
