In a sad turn of events, a Christian Louboutin shoe was found abandoned at the New York headquarters of Condé Nast. And we've discovered the owner of the mystery shoe...The Wanted singer Siva Kaneswaran's fiancé Nareesha McCaffrey, who is a shoe designer, took to Instagram earlier on in the day to pay tribute to her ill-fated heels.
The Louboutin became stuck in the escalator
"Great meeting at @TeenVogue... I left you guys a souvenir. RIP my @louboutinworld it just died at the Condé Nast," she wrote alongside a snap of the shoe.
The heel became stuck in the escalator, bringing the structure to a standstill.

Katie Turrel, Condé Nast's director of talent acquisition, discovered the shoe and posted a photo on Instagram.
Nareesha later posted a picture of the shoe post-incident, with part of the trademark red sole having peeled off.
