Olivia Palermo is regularly praised for her effortlessly chic outfits, and one of her former colleagues has noticed. Whitney Port, who starred with Olivia in MTV's reality show The City, has admitted that she admires Olivia's stylish ensembles, and wishes she could get some fashion tips from the star.

"We haven't spoken for two years – I would like to stay in touch with her," she told Daily Mail Australia. "I've been seeing things about her so much lately through all the fashion mags and everything. I wish she was my stylist."

It's not the first time that Whitney has opened up about her former castmate. Although the pair were billed as rivals when they starred in The City, Whitney admitted she never felt any hostility from Olivia.

"She was always so nice to me," she told HELLO! Fashion Monthly exclusively, before revealing that the producers of the show had planned to put the two women against each other from the start.
"The executive producer for The Hills, who then went on and did The City, told me that initially he thought Lauren and I weren't going to get along," she tells us.
"He hoped that, but actually it turned out we became good friends. So then, for The City, I think, they knew... 'We're going to make it, Whitney's a fish out of water in New York City. And Olivia's got her act together.' She's like a girl about town so they wanted that whole dichotomy between us."
It's no doubt been a busy few months for Whitney as she prepares for her upcoming nuptials to Tim Rosenman - who was one of the producers for The City. "We got really close while we were on the show but didn't start dating until after," she told MailOnline.
