Rihanna is never one to play it safe when it comes to fashion, and now the singer has brought a touch of her edgy style to her latest photoshoot for Dior. The 27-year-old showed off her style icon status in a new editorial spread for the French fashion house's magazine, causing a social media frenzy with the striking images.

The Diamonds hitmaker gave her 25.2 million followers a first look at the photoshoot, shot by British photographer Craig McDean, in which she looks every inch the superstar rocking everything from panelled jumpsuits to mesh dresses designed by Dior creative director Raf Simons.
Her red hair is worn slicked back into a wet-look style, complemented by a slick of statement burgundy lipstick, a look created by Dior's Make-Up Creative Director Peter Phillips.
This marks the second time that Rihanna has modelled for Dior since becoming a brand ambassador for the label in March - the Bajan beauty's first campaign for the brand saw her starring in their iconic Secret Garden series.

Shot by Steven Klein in the Palace of Versailles' opulent halls and breathtaking gardens, Rihanna was as sultry as ever as she modelled sequinned figure-hugging dresses and sleek black tops with plunging necklines.
The star revealed how excited she was at becoming a representative for Dior, following in the footsteps of stars including Jennifer Lawrence, Natalie Portman, Charlize Theron, Mila Kunis and Marion Cotillard.
"It feels fantastic," she told MTV News when the appointment was first unveiled. "It is such a big deal for me, for my culture, for a lot of young girls of any colour. I think, to be acknowledged by Dior is just, it means a lot as a woman to feel beautiful, and elegant, and timeless."
