September 8, 2015

Sienna Miller made a triumphant return to the spotlight this year, following a long break after she gave birth to her first child, daughter Marlowe, back in 2012. Now, the 33-year-old style icon has opened up about motherhood, and revealed that fashion is no longer one of her priorities.

Sienna Miller wowed at this year's Cannes Film Festival

"I don't remember the last time I went shopping," she admitted to Vogue. "I swear to God, I wear jeans and trainers and a T-shirt most days."

The American Sniper actress also revealed that while she found returning to her hectic schedule - including being a judge at this year's Cannes Film Festival – she has found it "overwhelming" at times.

"It's been quite overwhelming recently, just with the volume of everything going on," she said. "Everything is shifting. It's actually been the shittiest year, and amazing. It's always yin and yang. I feel like if you're excelling in one area, it's hard to manage both and I do feel like the work is going really well."

It's not the first time that Sienna has spoken candidly about juggling motherhood and her career. After giving birth to Marlowe, she told French newspaper Le Figaro that being a mother had changed her outlook on life, particularly when it came to fashion.

"I don't know what the new fashion trends are!" she admitted. "With my daughter, Marlowe, I don't have time to follow this anymore.

"I love fashion but I'm not obsessed by it. I love work, my style, but I don't think only about that, even though some people want to believe the contrary. I don't wake up in the morning, saying, 'Hmm, what an icon I am!'

"My life is very different; I've got a baby who leaves me only two hours of peace each night."
