Savannah Miller has been making waves in the world of fashion design ever since she launched luxe label Twenty8Twelve with style icon sister Sienna. Now the 36-year-old is celebrating yet another milestone moment as she unveils her first collection with high street giant Debenhams, Nine by Savannah Miller – and while she may be designing solo, she revealed why she still turns to her sister for advice.
"We do that anyway because we're sisters and best friends," she told HELLO! Fashion exclusively. "I did ask her for her opinion about certain things. She always is in agreement and I really respect her style."

However, that's not to say fashion is one of their preferred topics - Savannah admitted that they rarely talk about it. "We don't really have time for that, being mothers. Neither of us spend hours discussing our style at all, it's more about what we like and wearing things we like."
Motherhood plays a role in Savannah's own style, with the mother-of-three admitting that "inevitably there's jeans and a T-shirt involved."
"I think I'm quite classic. I do tend to feel that British style – so I'll wear a vintage jacket and a pair of jeans with a fantastic T-shirt," she continued. "Or a wonderful knit, back with jeans – inevitably jeans are involved a lot because I have three children. It's about being practical but elegant as well."
Savannah's collection is inspired by British style
The blonde beauty went on to reveal that nowadays, there is one particularly British fashionista whose style she regularly covets.
"Nowadays people like Alexa Chung do it so well," she said. "She dresses so beautifully. It's about that look where [fashion icons] might wear an amazing dress with a pair of moccasins or a parka – that casual, easy, London vibe. " She added: "I love her style. She's very cool and effortless."
It's not just the fashionistas who have inspired Savannah – it's the designers too. "Christopher Kane I completely idolise," she told us. "He never ceases to amaze me."
When it comes to the dream celebrity she'd like to see wearing her clothes, however, Savannah looked across the channel to a Parisian icon. "Chloe Sevigny," she said. "She's so cool!"

Still, British style was clearly at the forefront of Savannah's mind when she created her new collection, and she explained that she wanted to "create that classic British boho London look that's synonymous with our style".
"We've got great little tailored jackets in there, the perfect leather jacket, fantastic knitwear," she added. "It was about creating that capsule wardrobe that can effortlessly slide into your existing wardrobe and help pull everything together."
As she joins the Designers at Debenhams line-up which includes the likes of Julien Macdonald and Giles Deacon, Savannah revealed why she was particularly excited to collaborate with the department store.
"Debenhams are so good at their high street and designer collaborations – they have a really amazing history and incredible portfolio of other designers," she said." It's a very well-oiled machine, they really know what they're doing and the quality of the product is really high. It felt like a natural fit and I knew we'd be able to make beautiful things at that price point and have them be accessible."
