Kylie Jenner has proven she is a fashion force to be reckoned with, making her New York Fashion Week debut this week at the Alexander Wang show. Sat on the front row with rapper Tyga, the Keeping up with the Kardashians star looked every inch the style icon as she watched the Spring/Summer 2016 presentation.

Kylie Jenner wowed at the Alexander Wang

For the glamorous outing, Kylie chose an edgy black minidress from Alexander's Autumn/Winter 2015 collection, which featured a high neck and long sleeves, as well as oversized silver buttons for a structured finish. She wore her blonde hair down in a sleek and straight style, opting for nude lips and black winged eyeliner to complete her beauty look.

While it's not the first time that Kylie has been to New York fashion week – she accompanied mum Kris Jenner to a show back when she was 14 years old – this marks Kylie's solo debut on the front row.

Kanye West and Lewis Hamilton were spotted catching up

Fashionistas were surprised to note that stepsister Kim Kardashian was absent from this season's presentation, despite usually being a firm fixture at Alexander's shows – last year she and Kanye even took little North West, who had made her Fashion Week debut at Balenciaga, where Alexander was previously creative director.

Although Kim didn't make an appearance, rapper husband Kanye West came to support Alexander, and was spotted catching up with fellow attendee and Formula 1 champion Lewis Hamilton.

Lady Gaga and Mary J. Blige also stepped for Alexander Wang's show

As always, the front row was packed with famous faces including Lady Gaga, Nicki Minaj, Mary J. Blige, Bella Hadid and The Weeknd all stepping out to show their support as Alexander celebrated the 10th anniversary of his hugely successful career.

The designer caused a stir in the industry in July when it was confirmed that he would be focusing on his eponymous label, and leaving Balenciaga.
