Victoria Beckham recently admitted it felt like a "dagger through the heart" when daughter Harper told her she wants to play football, but it seems the little tot won't be donning her football boots just yet. David Beckham revealed that the couple's four-year-old has been sticking to one of her mother's trademark accessories – heels.
David Beckham has revealed Harper "runs in high heels"
"Victoria is like, 'please, we've got four children, three of them are boys and all love football. Please just let me have one that kind of wants to dress like me or wear high heels'," he told ITV's Good Morning Britain. "And actually, Harper is amazing, she runs in high heels so she's definitely got that from Victoria."
The 40-year-old went on to reveal that since Victoria revealed that Harper told her, 'I think I want to play football', he has been teasing his fashion designer wife with clips of their adorable little girl when she plays football.
"It was the best thing I'd ever heard I think," he laughed.

He added: "We were outside playing football the other day and she had a really pretty dress on and then a pair of pink football boots which I then sent Victoria the video, so again I think that was also a dagger in her heart but I love it, I love it!"
It's not the first time that David has spoken about his daughter's love of both football and fashion. He previously admitted that Harper embraces both of her parents' passions, often from the moment she gets home.
"The second that Harper walks into the house, she'll put on her ballerina outfit and a pair of Victoria's heels," he said during a press conference to celebrate 10 years of his fragrance Instinct. "But she'll also put the boys' football boots on, so she's got both dimensions."
