Amal Clooney has once again proven her style icon status, turning heads in a colourful ensemble on Wednesday. The human rights lawyer, who is married to George Clooney, looked every inch a scarlet siren in a chic shirt dress as she ran errands in New York.

This week has seen Amal rocking bright colours while making the transition from a summer to autumn wardrobe. On Tuesday night the Lebanese-British beauty was spotted rocking an eye-catching bright green dress as she and George attended a screening of O Brother, Where Art Thou?, the film that George Clooney won a Golden Globe for back in 2001.
It's been an exciting week for the couple, who celebrated their first wedding anniversary since tying the knot in a magical ceremony in Venice last September.

George recently opened up about his first year of marriage. "We sure are having fun," the actor told People. "We had a beautiful anniversary, and we're having fun."
The Tomorrowland star still remained tight-lipped when it came to revealing what he's learned as a newlywed.
"That's a good question, but I can't officially tell you any of those things because that would be wrong, and [Amal] would be upset if I told anyone what I've learned."
Last year George and Amal married in a wedding covered by HELLO! magazine, in conjunction with People. "My verdict on being Mr and Mrs Clooney? It feels pretty damn great," George told HELLO! after the ceremony.
