Bella Hadid has been conquering the fashion industry on the biggest Spring/Summer 2016 catwalks, but the 18-year-old has revealed it's not the only career she has in mind. Gigi Hadid's sister confessed that she has been training to compete in the Olympics in Rio de Janeiro next year, in the equestrian section.

Although the young model has not confirmed which competition she would like to take part in – the equestrian events include dressage, eventing and jumping – she revealed that her passion for horse-riding was encouraged by her mother, reality TV star Yolanda Foster.
"My devotion stemmed from my mom's love of horses," Bella told Porter. "I have been riding since I could walk and the fact that my mom knew everything about horses really helped my passion grow."
The American beauty also admitted that the sport helps her unwind amidst her hectic schedule which sees her travelling the world and modelling for major brands including Marc Jacobs, Diane von Furstenberg and Moschino.

"You know how every model is like, 'I do yoga'. Well, I find horses have the same effect," she admitted. "You have to put your ego aside and concentrate on making the horse do the things you want it to do, and move in the way you want it to move."
Bella is not the only one in the fashion industry to enjoy horse-riding in her downtime. Stylish royal Charlotte Casiraghi and fellow model Edie Campbell are just some of the fashionistas who compete in equestrian sports.
Bella follows in the footsteps of supermodels including Karlie Kloss and Cara Delevingne, who have also chosen to branch out away from the world of fashion. Karlie recently enrolled at NYU to study alongside her successful career, whilst British beauty Cara announced earlier this year that she was leaving the world of fashion in order to pursue her passion for acting.
