Victoria Beckham has shared candid images from her recent trip to Ethiopia. The mother-of-four, who is a UN Goodwill Ambassador, showed off her maternal side as she spent time with African families.The fashion designer was working with UNAIDS, a scheme that aims to achieve universal access to HIV prevention, treatment, care and support.

One black and white image showed Victoria hugging a happy young girl as she perched in her lap. "Beautiful, happy children. ALEM #ethiopia @unaids," she wrote alongside the shot.
Another image showed the 41-year-old learning how to make traditional African jewellery with a group of women.
Victoria chose a casual look for the visit
She was also seen chatting to the Minister of Health for Ethiopia, Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus.
Shortly after, she posed with the Minister's son, who posted the photo on Facebook.

Victoria spent time with families during the trip

"Victoria's trip to Ethiopia follows her trip to New York last month, where she attended the Social Good Summit and made a speech as part of her role as a UN Goodwill Ambassador.

Her husband David Beckham didn't waste any time in praising his wife for her "powerful speech", posting a snap of her on stage with a touching message: "Proud of my wife today speaking at the UN Head quarters ... Powerful speech along with some other incredible and powerful women on that stage ... Right to the point about Our fight against HIV / AIDS @unitednations @unicef @victoriabeckham."
