Gigi Hadid and Joe Jonas have split after five months together. The couple quickly became inseparable after they decided to take their friendship to the next level, but work commitments are reportedly the reason behind their break up.
"Joe and Gigi’s relationship recently ended. Nothing serious happened... It wasn’t a dramatic break up. It was just hard to make it work with their schedules. They will definitely remain friends," a source told People.

There's no doubt the pair will stay in touch as they have been close friends for years. In September, the 20-year-old model revealed that Joe, 26, had originally asked her out seven years ago, but she rejected his advances.
In a periscope chat, Gigi said: "We met at the Grammys when I was 13 years old and he asked me to a baseball game, and I said, 'No.' I was so nervous; I literally didn't even know what it meant to hang out with a boy."

The Victoria's Secret model also revealed that Joe had assumed she was older, so she was worried to tell him that she had school the next day. But Joe wouldn't take no for an answer and passed on his number to Gigi's mother, Yolanda Foster.
"We've been friends ever since," Gigi explained. "Except now. We're more than friends, obviously."
The couple began dating after Gigi split with Cody Simpson, her on and off boyfriend of two years, back in May. Joe Jonas had not been in another relationship since splitting from Blanda Eggenschwiler in August 2014.
