With the Christmas season in full swing, the Duchess of Cambridge, née Kate Middleton, got into the festive spirit as she stepped out for an engagement on Tuesday in bright red.The stylish royal was sporting an Alexander McQueen dress that she has worn twice before – once for an outing during the Diamond Jubilee celebrations in 2012, and again in 2014 for a Buckingham Palace party.

The fire engine-red dress fell in pretty sunray pleats from the hips and she finished off the look with suede black court shoes and a black clutch.Alexander McQueen, the fashion house chosen to create Kate's beautiful wedding dress, is one of Kate's go-to designers.Back in 2012, Kim Kardashian was also spotted wearing the same dress, but without the long sleeves and in a shorter version.

On Tuesday, Kate was visiting the Anna Freud Centre in north London, where she joined in their Christmas party and the Family School's end of term celebrations.
Arriving in the morning, the Duchess was greeted by scores of excited children.
Kate's visit reflected her interest in child mental health issues. The Centre's Family School helps children with serious emotional and behavioural issues and provides support to parents. Mental health support is also integrated into the children's education.

The 33-year-old was also treated to various performances by the youngsters, which celebrate their achievements.
During her engagement she took part in some festive activities that are designed to help pupils reflect on the positive progress they have made during the term – both in terms of their academic success and progress in their social relationships and communication skills.
