Lorraine Kelly has admitted she had to change her dress at the last minute before the National Television Awards on Wednesday evening.
The television presenter revealed she suffered a wardrobe malfunction while getting ready for the event, which meant she had to go for "Plan B".
Speaking on her eponymous ITV show on Thursday morning, Lorraine said she was almost ready to leave the house in a dress she described as a "showstopper".

"I had a real showstopper of a dress lined up. It was white and shimmery but I put my heel straight through the fabric," she said. "That was a big lesson. Don't put your heels on before your dress. I couldn't believe it. The car was literally waiting for me outside."
The Scottish star also dished out some words of wisdom to her viewers.

"Always have a spare dress in your wardrobe," she said. "You've got to have a plan B."
Viewers were none the wiser to Lorraine's fashion faux pas, as she still looked glamorous on the red carpet in a champagne coloured Damsel in a Dress gown and shimmering clutch bag, with her hair tied back in a loose chignon.

Lorraine was not the only star to suffer an awkward fashion moment at the event; I'm a Celebrity stars Sam Quek and Stacey Solomon attracted attention after both stepping out in identical dresses.
The pair both wore the same red sequin Nadine Merabi gown for their red carpet appearance
Sam and Stacey both laughed off their fashion faux pas, joking that they had the same "great taste".
Sam tweeted: "BTW @Stacey Solomon you looked on point tonight! #greatminds."
Stacey also shared side-by-side photos of herself and Sam in their matching gowns on Thursday morning, writing: "How hot are we @SamanthaQuek #GreatTaste #NTAs."
