The Duchess of Cambridge majorly upped the style stakes on Monday morning, turning heads in a chic red skirt suit as she paid a visit to a primary school in North London. Eagle-eyed royal fans noted that Kate had worn the gorgeous Luisa Spagnoli ensemble before, and while the Duchess regularly recycles her outfits, this seems to be a particular favourite with Kate having worn it a total of four times.

On this occasion, the Duchess teamed the two-piece suit – which features a wool jacket with cinched waist detail and a matching skirt – with black court shoes and a clutch bag, as she joined Prince William on a visit of Mitchell Brook Primary School. During the outing, the royal couple met with staff and pupils before presenting a "Kindness Cup" to the child who has "has shown exceptional kindness in their school community and beyond".

The mum-of-two first debuted the eye-catching ensemble in February 2011 during one of her first official public outings following the news that she and Prince William had got engaged. Kate was visitn her alma mater, St Andrews University, and kept out the winter winds by adding a high-neck black top, accessorising with black leather gloves, tights and knee-high black boots.

The next time the stylish royal was spotted wearing the £160 skirt and £335 jacket, she and Prince William were on their royal tour of Australia and New Zealand. The royal couple arrived for a visit in Christchurch, New Zealand, where Kate once again showed off her style credentials in the ensemble, pairing it with black pumps and a clutch bag, wearing her brunette tresses back in a chic half updo style.

The Duchess also opted for the sophisticated suit in December 2015, when she attended a ceremony in which she became the Honorary Air Commandant of the RAF Air Cadets, taking over the patronage from Prince Philip. It marked the Duchess' first role with an official link to the military; Kate has a close affiliation to the RAF following her husband William's service with the Search and Rescue Force.
