Ahead of his hotly anticipated fashion week show in New York, Kanye West stepped out in the Big Apple rocking a brand new hair style. The rapper was sporting platinum blonde hair, which fans have speculated reflects his new season's offering.
The show will take place on Wednesday, after a schedule change by the musician. Kanye received a backlash when it emerged that his initial date clashed with the Marchesa presentation. The CFDA confirmed that the rapper had been in touch to change the time of his fashion show following their statement accusing him of 'disruptive' behaviour.

The issues began when Kanye announced that his fashion show would take place at 5pm on Wednesday 15 February as part of the official NYFW schedule. However the father-of-two hadn't consulted with CFDA, who spend months painstakingly planning the event, and his chosen time clashed with Marchesa's show.
"Once again, CFDA was not approached or consulted about the possibility of Kanye West showing on the official New York fashion week schedule," Steven Kolb, the CFDA's president said in a statement to WWD on Thursday. "As the scheduler of the week, the CFDA works with more than 300 brands to identify appropriate times for them to show their collections and avoid scheduling conflicts. Not going though the proper channels is disruptive to the whole week and unfair to designers who have secured spots through the formal procedure."

However it appears that Kanye apologised for the clash, and moved his show forward two hours to 3pm. "Kanye called me personally to let me know that he had no intention of showing on top of another designer, and was unaware that there was a conflict," Steven said in a statement. "He explained that once he realized Marchesa was in the time slot, he immediately looked at alternative options. The CFDA appreciates Kanye's outreach and effort, and we look forward to working with him far in advance to integrate Yeezy into the schedule in seasons to come."
