Just hours after dazzling in Erdem at the Queen's UK-India Year of Culture 2017 launch reception, the Duchess of Cambridge made another stylish appearance in London on Tuesday. Kate wore a Rebecca Taylor blue tweed skirt suit for a visit to Ronald McDonald House Evelina London on Tuesday morning, where she officially opened the charity's new accommodation for families of children being treated at Evelina London Children's Hospital.
The Duchess wore the tweed peplum jacket and skirt with classic navy court shoes and a co-ordinating clutch bag. She styled her glossy brunette locks into a half-up, half-down style and wore natural make-up to complete the look.

The design is an update of a Rebecca Taylor suit Kate has previously worn on several occasions, including on her royal tour of New Zealand in 2014. Kate was first seen in the original two-piece almost five years ago at an event honouring the Scott-Amundsen Centenary Race in April 2012. The suit was from the designer's pre-autumn 2012/2013 collection and is crafted from a cotton, acrylic and polyester mix fabric.
The original skirt suit sold out quickly after Kate first wore it, so the brand have updated the design - removing the floral embellishments around the neckline and adding a collar in its place. The updated design also appears to have sold out, but there are similar versions available from the designer in black and light pink.

During Kate's visit she learned about Ronald McDonald Charities and was taken on a tour of the House, meeting families who benefit from its new facilities and service. The Duchess also attended a short reception and unveiled a plaque to mark the centre's official opening.

The Duchess' outing followed her glamorous appearance at a Buckingham Palace reception to mark the launch of the UK-India Year of Culture 2017. Kate turned heads in a stunning gold Erdem dress for the occasion, where she joined her husband Prince William along with the Queen, Prince Philip, Prince Edward and Princess Eugenie.
