The event was in celebration of Ralph Lauren's See Now, Buy Now collection which debuted at the designer's Madison Avenue store during New York Fashion Week in February. Ralph Lauren's Parisian restaurant was transformed into a botanical oasis for the occasion, with the same flowers and décor that provided the backdrop for the immersive fashion show.

Guests included French actress and writer Josephine de la Baume, who looked stunning in a gold crocheted silk dress and python blazer from Ralph Lauren Collection, and Lauren Santo Domingo, co-founder of online retailer Moda Operandi. Meanwhile, Tatiana Casiraghi, who is married to Princess Caroline of Monaco's eldest son Andrea, looked elegant in a Ralph Lauren Collection cream cashmere dress and co-ordinating tuxedo jacket. They mingled with American writer and man-about-town Derek Blasberg and jewellery designer Eugenie Niarchos while enjoying a three-course dinner of Lobster Salad, Ralph's Burger and mini chocolate brownies.

The event comes three weeks after Ralph Lauren's innovative fashion show at New York Fashion Week, where the collection was made instantly available to shoppers online and in the brand's worldwide flagship stores for the second time. "I have always wanted a woman to fall in love with my collection and say 'I can't wait to wear it' and now she doesn't have to," Ralph said of his decision to embrace the See Now, Buy Now model. "We are meeting her needs with even greater energy than before and delivering impeccable craftsmanship and luxury to her instantly."
