Fashion blogger and YouTube sensation, Thassia Naves, took HFM to Paris Fashion Week to celebrate the final day of what has been a sensational month of fashion! From New York, Madrid and London, Paris was the perfect finish to the AW17 collections. Read Thassia's diary below for an insider view of the biggest shows from Chanel, Moncler, Miu Miu and Louis Vuitton.

Chanel
Hosted at the Grand Palais, the Chanel AW17 show quite literally blew everyone away. Known for his extravagant catwalks, Karl Lagerfeld took his space age theme to the extreme with an enormous Chanel rocket, activated by his Godson, that launched with the new AW17 collection along to Elton Johns Rocket Man. Of all of the Chanel shows she has been to (and there have been a lot), Thassia said #ChanelGroundControl was by far the most beautiful shows she has seen yet!
Knee-length boots were adorned with sequins galore while Chanel's typical tweed jackets in monochrome, innocent pinks and whites were contrasted with lots of shimmering metallics for a space age update. Accessories came in embellished or metallic finishes and even mini rocket shapes complete with metallic tassels for take-off. Make-up was typically 60s with doll eyes as well as the abstract eyeliner shapes we're seeing again today; the hair, by celebrity hairstylist Sam McKnight, saw models sporting a backcombed Barbarella bouffant to go with.
Of course the fashion show drew in big names on the runway, including Kendall, Bella, Gigi and even Lucky Blue Smith, as well as up and coming models Luna Bijl and Nina Marker. The FROW was equally star studded with appearances from Cara Delevingne, Rita Ora, Pharrell Williams, Lily Rose and Vanessa Paradis.
Moncler
Set to an autumnal backdrop the Moncler Gamme Rouge by Giambattista Valli was as enchanting as it was practical with models sporting sturdy rucksacks and even camping mats in the clear hark to the outdoors. Outfits included tweed suits, pretty floral dresses and lots of shearling trimmings. Nordic prints were spruced up with feminine patterns on knitwear and a prairie look was completed with thick, opaque tights.
Miu Miu
Anna Ewers for Miu Miu's AW17 show featured a lot of fur... everywhere! Including on a spectacular fluffy purple staircase. Teddy bear coats, shoulder wraps and almost all accessories were adorned with, if not made of, multi-coloured furs in pastel shades which contrasted beautifully with vibrant knitwear. Miu Miu used bold colours such as lime green, mustard yellow, reds and oranges in 70's-esque colour blocking and striped patterns. Kendall Jenner made yet another appearance alongside Joan Smalls and Adwoa Aboah. Another star-studded FROW included appearances from Lily Collins, Poppy Delevingne and our very own cover star, Olivia Palermo.
Louis Vuitton
Set under the Louvre pyramid, the Louis Vuitton show was a sensational conclusion to the AW17 shows. Another collection to feature metallics (can you tell this trend's not going anywhere?), this time in flowing silks and shiny finishes to prints. There was a similar hark to the 70's we have been seeing throughout fashion shows recently with flared trousers, ruffled hems and, yet again, fur! The mismatching of textures was emphasised with the layering and details included metal embellishments and even chains. It seemed Nicolas Ghesquiere was deliberately targeting the cool-girl night owls with this collection.
