Victoria Beckham has given an insight into her business, including what she looks for in her staff. The fashion designer opened up about her career, and how she balances it with family life, in a Facebook Live interview with The Sunday Times. "I feel so lucky, so blessed to do what I love," Victoria enthused. "My business is my passion, it's what I've always dreamed of. I truly believe if you work hard enough and you dream big enough, there are no limits to what you can achieve."

The 42-year-old also commented on the statistic that 80% of senior management roles in her business are held by women, while 79% of her team are also women. "For me it's not about whether someone is male or female," she said. "It's about getting the best person for the job and I have a great team, lots of very strong, powerful, very intelligent women and that's who I want to surround myself with. I want to learn and be around people who inspire me."

And far from seeing herself as a boss, Victoria explained that she prefers to "work together" with her team for a collaborative effort. "It's about empowering your team. Yes it's about being firm but it's also about allowing them to be free, especially when you work in a creative industry. If you empower people and make them feel like the best version of themselves, that's how people give you their best work," Victoria said.
STORY: Victoria Beckham said her new collection was inspired by daughter Harper
While Victoria has an incredibly successful – and busy – fashion career that sees her travelling the world on a regular basis, she says the key to her success is that she always puts her children first, explaining: "David and the children are everything to me." This is evident with her latest fashion collection for Target, which she says was largely inspired by her five-year-old daughter Harper.

"You really get a sense of the relationship between Harper and me," Victoria told InStyle's April issue of the collection. "This is fun, easy, cute, all of those things. Very honest. Very me." We're sure we'll soon see Harper wearing the adorable designs, which include a pretty gingham co-ord and rabbit motif sweatshirt, as modelled by a group of children on the subscriber cover of the magazine.
