Instagram diary: My ski fashion essentials

March 15, 2017

I don't know about you, but I find myself a bit lost when it comes to ski fashion. I want to stay stylish, all while keeping function a priority. So before my ski holiday last week, I did lots of research, and discovered a few amazing brands that kept me looking good as I tried to stay alive on the slopes...! (It was only my second time, I'm still terrified.)

Sweaty Betty

I LOVED these thermals from Sweaty Betty - they're so fun and vibrant! Plus they do what they say on the tin, I was never cold.

Colmar Originals

Italian brand Colmar Originals was my lifesaver on the slopes. I loved the modern cut of their salopettes - they're flightly flared at the bottom and fitted around the thighs - and this red jacket earned me quite a few compliments from fellow skiers!

Jacket, £339, and salopettes, £159.60, both available at Colmar

Perfect Moment

This is your ultimate cool girl ski label... It's fun, fashionable and ensures you'll stand out on the slopes. They have all sorts of vibrant designs - a navy, star-printed jumpsuit is one of my faves - but this 100% Merino wool sweater made for a great apres-ski option.

Had to throw this shot in... What a view! The rosé wasn't too bad either...

Time to head home! My airport uniform is always an oversized jumper, baggy trousers or culottes and trainers... I can't stand being uncomfortable on the flight. Topping it all off is this beautiful gold Lulu Guinness suitcase - I certainly don't have to worry about not spotting it on the baggage carousel!
