Victoria Beckham has paid homage to her Spice Girls roots with her first advert for her Target collection. The fashion designer shared the first advert on Instagram on Wednesday, and excited fans with the revelation that her '90s hit Spice up Your Life has been selected to play in the background. "My first ever TV advert for #VBxTarget! So much fun with @targetstyle x VB," the fashion designer wrote, before telling viewers to "TURN IT UP and #spiceupyourlife."

The short clip is set in a decadent all-white mansion with models showing off the gorgeous designs Victoria has created for both women and children. And the range is sure to be a hit, with chic monochrome dresses, calla lily print designs and vibrant colour blocking that Victoria has been championing with her own outfits over the past few months. The childrenswear is equally stylish, with the same colour scheme and prints on pretty summer dresses, tops and skirts.
STORY: Victoria Beckham reveals Harper inspired her new collection
Victoria previously said the collection was inspired by her daughter Harper, so it's likely we'll see the five-year-old wearing her mum's designs very soon. Speaking to InStyle, the mum-of-four revealed: "You really get a sense of the relationship between Harper and me. This is fun, easy, cute, all of those things. Very honest. Very me."

The 42-year-old also admitted that one of the proudest moments of her career was when Tom Ford recognised her as a fashion designer rather than a Spice Girl. Victoria told InStyle: "I'm really proud of what I achieved with the Spice Girls, but I'm also proud of everything I have done with my brand. So that meant a lot to me, you know? That’s Tom Ford saying, 'We look at you as a credible designer,' which was very cool." Victoria's hotly anticipated collection for Target launches on 9 April. Selected pieces will also be available on her eponymous website.
