The temperature might still a bit confused but we are firmly in Spring territory (have you seen all the pretty pink blossoms dotted around London?! My camera roll's full of them). So I've been adapting my wardrobe accordingly, wearing t-shirts, cropped jeans and even skirts (!!), keeping out the slight chill with lightweight coats and jackets. Here's a round-up of my latest outfits...
Culottes
I'm such a fan of culottes - they have a bad rap, but they're one of the most versatile items of clothing you can own. You can make them casual with trainers, or dress them up with skyhigh heels. They're a perfect addition to your Spring wardrobe; this pair is from the John Lewis Modern Rarity collection.
All grey
Look how happy I am to see the sun! This boyfriend coat from Mint Velvet is ideal for this time of year. It's warm yet lightweight - plus, it's a throw-over-anything kind of coat. I love the androgynous vibe.
The grey jeans are also super versatile - you can pair them with almost anything thanks to their super slim silhouette and neutral hue.
Nautical
White, navy and grey might be one of my favourite combinations. These jeans brighten up my day and make me feel sunny, even when it isn't. This lightweight parka, also from Joules, is a wet-weather winner but lightweight enough to carry you through Spring.
Pretty pastels
Pastel pink isn't just for Instagram! Add a pop of colour to your wardrobe with pink trousers - just make sure to pair them with other light colours as they don't suit anything too dark. I'm obsessed with these Jaeger beauties.
Pink puffer
I balanced out this bare legs look with a cropped pink puffer jacket from New Look - it's so fun and easy to throw on most outfits. Plus - it's only £20, go quick!!
Posed against a pink door (not mine) for maximum girly effect.
