Ellie Goulding wows in black lace dress at Omega’s anniversary party

April 27, 2017

Ellie Goulding turned heads in London on Wednesday, stepping out in a statement black mini dress to attend the Omega ‘Lost in Space’ 60th anniversary party held at the Tate Modern. The singer’s form-fitting ensemble featured semi-sheer lace panels and exaggerated ruffle sleeves, which she teamed with a pair of black skyscraper heels to showcase her sculpted bare legs. Opting for minimal make-up, Ellie’s natural beauty was enhanced with a glowy base, subtle rose blush and pink lipstick. Her large brown eyes stood out with a layer of black mascara, lilac eyeshadow and a bold flick of eyeliner. Meanwhile, the singer wore her long blonde hair in gently tousled glossy waves.

Ellie looked sensational at the star-studded London event

Other stars at the event included Pixie Lott, who attended with her fiancé Oliver Cheshire, Gemma Arteton George Clooney and Liv Tyler.

The 30-year-old opted for a similar striking look last week

And it looks like black lace is Ellie’s current favourite trend right now. Last week, the star posted a beautiful photograph of herself on her Instagram account, seeing her wear a striking semi-sheer black lace top and ruffled mini skirt, teamed with a pair of knee high boots and a stylish trilby hat.

And although Ellie looks a picture of confidence, the star has previously opened up about her battle with anxiety, telling Stylist: "When I think back to my tiredness, my slump, not wanting to exercise and not being interested in anything. It wasn't depression, it was just my body giving up."

However, the stunning Lights singer recently penned an open letter discussing her struggles with the crippling disorder, explaining that she has now developed a new-found confidence through her fitness routine, specifically with boxing and kickboxing.

She wrote: "I love that extra kick of adrenaline. Keeping fit doesn't mean spending hours at a gym; the key is to find a workout you really love. I find gyms mostly male-dominated, so I prefer classes, like at Barry's Bootcamp or Equilibrium TrX. The more I started doing classes and also working out with my trainer, Faisal Abdalla, the better I felt about myself."
