Chrissy Teigen turned heads in a statement little black dress as she joined her husband John Legend and fellow A-listers at the Met Gala 2017 after party on Monday evening. Wearing her second outfit of the night, the daring Yves Saint Laurent design featured sheer lace panels and sleeves, while the above-the-knee cut showcased her limbs beautifully. Make-up wise, the mother-of-one’s flawless complexion and model cheekbones were enhanced with a subtle glowy base and peach blush, while her dark brown eyes were highlighted with a stroke of liquid eyeliner and layers of black mascara. The model's lips were painted a rich matte red, while her long hair was worn down in a centre parting. Meanwhile, John looked dapper in a crisp white shirt and jacket, tailored black trousers and a bow tie.

The star-studded soirée was held at the Boom Boom Room at the Standard Hotel in New York, and hosted by pop sensation Katy Perry. Earlier in the evening, Chrissy made an extravagant entrance on the red carpet wearing a white Marchesa lace mini dress with floral embellishments and a black lace train. During the first half of the celebrations, she opted to scrape her hair back in an oh-so-sleek ‘do.

Chrissy and John were taking a well-deserved night off from parent duties. The couple, who have been married since 2013, became first-time parents last year after welcoming their daughter Luna. The 31-year-old has previously opened up about life as a mother, telling Entertainment Tonight: "It's been really exciting and fun, and every day is so different, and seeing all her little changes is so cute. But it's the little smiles that get you. There is no feeling like that first little smile, your first Mother's Day, which was so beautiful and sweet to me. The entire day my eyes were on the verge of tears because I was so happy."
