Kate's elegant Emilia Wickstead look for Luxembourg visit

May 11, 2017

The Duchess of Cambridge looked achingly elegant as she stepped out in Luxembourg on Thursday to participate in the official commemoration of the 1867 Treaty of London. Wearing a bespoke pale blue Emilia Wickstead coat with long sleeves and a full, subtly pleated skirt, Kate looked superb. To accessorise, she chose a pair of nude-hued patent court shoes, a co-ordinating Etui clutch bag and a pair of blue topaz and diamond drop earrings by Kiki McDonough.

Her dark, glossy hair was styled effortlessly in loose curls that tumbled onto her shoulders, and as for make-up, she opted for a simple smoky eye and lashings of mascara. A gentle sweep of pink blush enlivened her flawless complexion, while a defined brow balanced her look beautifully.

During her time in Luxembourg the Duchess will visit the Grand Duke Jean Museum of Modern Art to tour the current exhibitions by British artists Sir Tony Cragg and Darren Almond. She will also visit Place Clairefontaine and tour an exciting cycling-themed festival.

Kate is a fan of Whistles, Karen Millen and Catherine Walker & Co.

Always a picture of elegance, 35-year-old Kate tends to gravitate towards classic looks and her favourite designers include Temperley London, Alexander McQueen and Jenny Packham. She is also a lover of British high street brands, from Karen Millen to Whistles. On 16th April she attended the Easter Sunday service at Windsor Castle dressed in a custom-made cream coat by Catherine Walker & Co, and court shoes in a leg-lengthening nude tone.

Having recently taken a break from designing, Daniella Helayel, the founder and former Creative Director of Issa London, one of Kate’s go-to label’s, is back with a lust-worthy new fashion brand, Dhela.

The label has been picked up by Harvey Nichols and the debut collection features an array of ethereal gowns and slinky colour-block jumpsuits inspired by soirées in St Tropez and Marrakech. It’s only a matter of time before we see Kate wearing a beautiful Dhela dress.
