Elizabeth Olsen has opened up about the constant "pressure" to look good while in the spotlight. The Godzilla actress always stuns on the red carpet, whether it's in a boho chic dress as seen at a Tory Burch event in London on Monday, or a low-cut pink sequined gown at the Cannes Film Festival over the weekend. All isn't as it seems though as while Elizabeth appears to ooze confidence, in reality, the 28-year-old struggles to make an impression in front of the cameras.
Elizabeth opened up about the pressures of being in the spotlight
“It's a privilege to get to have a job in this industry, and I would never change it for the world, but I have a hard time with the pressure of looking cool, like fitting into dresses that were (made) off a model's body,” she sighed to Elle magazine. “I am not that. I don't think I'm fat and I don't think I'm overweight, I'm very happy with what I look like, but I don't fit into those things and it's a little uncomfortable. So, that kind of part of the job is a little frustrating."
The actress has recieved style tips from her fashion designer sisters Mary-Kate and Ashley
Luckily the Avengers: Age of Ultron star has received plenty of style pointers from her older sisters, actresses-turned-designers Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen. The 30-year-old twins have two labels of their own, The Row and Elizabeth and James, and their younger sibling continues to be in awe of their talent and dedication to their work.
"The cool thing about watching my sisters is to me they've always handled everything with so much class,” Elizabeth gushed. “When you meet them in a work environment you know how capable they are, and how well their minds work, because you can't miss it. It's because of how disciplined they are, how interested they are, and how committed they are.”
