Nicole Kidman is a force to be reckoned with. Never failing to look anything but fabulous, the 49-year-old looked the epitome of glamour as she posed for photos on the red carpet at the photocall for her upcoming film, The Beguiled. Stepping out during Cannes Film Festival on Wednesday, the actress dazzled in a floor-length champagne-hued Alexander McQueen gown. The lace adorned design featured a cool cross-front halter neck, and contrasted beautifully with a statement black stud belt. For footwear, she wore a pair of patent black leg-lengthening heels, while a pair of delicate drop earrings completed her awe-inspiring look.

Beauty-wise, Nicole’s long, strawberry-blonde hair was styled in a sweeping side parting, while her striking features were accentuated by natural make-up – with a subtle stroke of peach blush drawing attention her razer-sharp cheekbones and a dab of gold eyeshadow bringing out her vibrant blue eyes. A rose-pink matte lip made for the perfect finishing touch.
Nicole was joined on the red carpet by fellow Hollywood sirens, Elle Fanning and Kirsten Dunst, who also star in the much-anticipated film. Elle opted for a striking Victorian-esque full-length white gown with delicate puffball sleeves and a corset inspired bodice, which drew attention to her enviable waistline. Kirsten also chose a striking white ensemble, and looked gorgeous in a laser-cut summer-ready lace dress.

Earlier in the week, Nicole opted for another suitably stylish look in Cannes, this time at the premiere of her new film, The Killing Of A Sacred Deer, in which she leads with fellow A-lister Colin Farrell. She looked positively radiant in a cool statement white organza tutu teamed with a black form-fitting bodice, which showcased her sculpted arms. A pair of patent black heels and silver studded earrings gave an extra wow-factor to her ensemble.

Nicole’s fashion-forward of style has not gone unnoticed, and her stylist Julia von Boehm had previously praised her for her fearless approach when it comes to choosing an outfit in an interview with the New York Times. "She's not going the safe road,” she said. ''When I see the shows, I think of them with two brains: my editorial brain and the Nicole brain. Sometimes they are one and the same.”
