Robin Wright turned heads on Thursday evening when she stepped out in LA to attending the Wonder Woman premiere wearing a statement midi dress. The fashion forward design featured a halter neck with a floor-length slash and asymmetric hem – adding a playful dimension to her all black ensemble. The sleeveless number showcased the star’s sculpted sun-kissed arms, and was teamed with a pair of leg-lengthening heels and a patterned box clutch. A pair of ultra-cool triangle drop earrings completed her stunning look.

Robin, who stars in the much-anticipated film as General Antiope alongside Gal Gadot, who stars as Wonder Woman herself, looked a vision beauty-wise. The 51-year-old worked a smouldering smoky eye and layers of black mascara, while her flawless complexion was enhanced with a glowy base and sweep of rose-hued blush. A soft pink lip made for the perfect finishing touch, while her glossy, blonde bob was styled in a side parting, with her sweeping side fringe clipped back in an ultra-feminine ‘do.

The House of Cards actress extended her talents to fashion design back in 2015, when she debuted her luxury sleepwear line, Pour Les Femmes, with her friend, designer Karen Fowlerm. The beautiful collection sees profits going straight to helping women suffering from violence in the Congo. The dreamy range features plenty of crisp white, lace adorned Victoria-esque nightgowns, dressing robes, pyjama sets and even beach-ready kaftans, made from crisp cottons and linens.

Always one to look great at star-studded events, Robin was recently voted best dressed star by Vogue, when she wowed on the red carpet during the opening night of Cannes Film Festival earlier in the month. The talented actress opened up to HELLO! about embracing red carpet events, saying: “[It] is always going to be about the fashion, that's why people are stopped on that carpet, because they are wearing a designer's piece.”

“You're there to sell, you're doing them a favour and they're doing you a favour by giving you publicity. It's a give and take. You're a woman, you wear a dress and people say, why don't they ask questions about the man in the tuxedo, and it's because they are all wearing the same thing!”
