Primark have certainly made it easy for us to finding affordable, summer-ready shoes of late, and nailed it once again with the debut of an ultra-feminine pair of slingback flat pumps on Instagram this week. Retailing at the purse-friendly price of £8 and embellished with oversized pom poms, customers have the choice of pastel pink and ‘wear with everything’ black. The ultra-cute, playful footwear has come in perfect timing for the summer season, and would jazz up any outfit, either teamed with an oversized kaftan by the poolside, or worn to the bar come the evening for a head-turning addition to your look.

And we aren’t the only fans. Over on the brand’s social media, shoppers flocked to remark on the preview photo, with plenty of: “I need” and “Cute” comments making up the comments section.

Primark’s recent footwear collections have been top of the game this season, having recently debuted a pair of bow-adorned backless mules, also on sale for just £8, emulating Prada’s ultra-covetable £475 velvet slipper shoe.

Meanwhile, shoppers worldwide were desperate to get their hands on a pair of the store’s ‘embroidery crush’ platform wedges earlier in the month, inspired by another high-end label. The stunning £18 design comes in classic black and summer-ready turquoise, with both styles adorned with delicate floral embroidery detailing.

The on-trend shoes were seemingly inspired by Dolce & Gabbana’s floral print sandals which retail at a slightly more purse-tightening £682. This isn’t the first time the high-street favourite has pulled out all the stops.
