Hollyoaks' Amanda Clapham dazzled in a vibrant red Suzanne Neville dress. The star showed off her stunning look on her Instagram page and revealed she had been styled by Kelly Hidge and had her make-up done by celebrity artist Benny Hancock.

Hollyoaks' Anna Passey looked effortlessly elegant in a Malan Breton gown. The Best Actress nominee's hair was styled by "goddess" Jayne Littler from Andrew Collinge whilst her make-up was done by Thea at the Cassie Lomas Makeup Academy.

Bhavna Limbachia, who plays Rana in Coronation Street looked stunning in a pink dress by Liverpool-based fashion designer Mark Melia. The star thanked the team behind her look on Instagram, she said: "A huge THANK YOU for making me feel like a million dollars last night at the Soap Awards".

Former HELLO! Online blogger Catherine Tyldesley was the belle of the ball in a Mark Melia pink halter neck dress. The Coronation Street star paid tribute to the victims of the Manchester terror attack by accessorising her look with a clutch that had the words "we stand together" and a drawing of a bee, the symbol of the city, emblazoned on it.

This year was also Lauren McQueen's first Soap Awards show, and the Hollyoaks star made sure she stood out in an incredible SheShea Bespoke Fashion Studio dress.

Coronation Street's Lucy Fallon dazzled in a pink Emma Beaumont Atelier dress.

The stunning creation was made from layers of tulle lace appliqué and scattered pearl cape. The actress, who is currently at the centre of a harrowing grooming storyline, seemed very happy with her choice. She wrote on Instagram: "Who needs a degree when ya schoolin life!? In love with my @emma_beaumont_atelier dress ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️"

Kym Marsh made sure she looked perfect for this year's Soap Awards in a navy lace Elle Zeitoune dress.

The actress, who took her son as her date, won the Best Female Dramatic Performance Award. She was one of the favourites after touching the hearts of the nation with her tragic miscarriage story-line.

Coronation Street's Jennie McAlpine wore a blue jumpsuit accessorised with nude pumps.

Coronation Street newcomer, Julia Goulding, made sure her first Soap Awards would be one to remember by looking stunning in a Gorgeous Couture dress. The star shared a picture of her ensemble on Instagram and captioned the photo: "Had such a smashing time on Saturday at my first #soapawards2017 loved my beautiful dress @gorgeouscoutureuk , thank you it was perfect!"

Hollyoaks' Kirsty-Leigh Porter surprised with a daring white see through dress.

Hollyoaks' Sophie Porley wore a Solace London black and white dress for her first Soap Awards.

The actress said her first experience at the bash had been "a dream".

Hollyoaks star Stephanie Waring chose designer Nadine Merabi once again for this year's Soap Awards. "I can't thank @nadinemerabi enough for coming up with this little creation for me for last night's #BritishSoapAwards I felt amazing in it .. she out does herself every year!!!," she said alongside a snap of her in the gorgeous black dress.

EastEnders' Sydney Craven chose a red dress for this year's awards. The creation featured a high slit and was accessorised with a silver clutch bag.

EastEnders' Tilly Keeper chose a black Scarlet Pimpernella dress, which she accessorised with Sophia Webster sandals.
