Selena Gomez worked a fashion-forward look earlier this week when she posted a picture on her Instagram account wearing a black latex mini-dress. The form-fitting pinafore style design showcased the 24-year-old’s petite frame, and looked fabulous over a contrasting pillar box red t-shirt. A pair of white trainers added a cool sporty look to her ensemble. Beauty-wise, Selena wore her glossy brown hair swept up in a high ponytail, drawing attention to her striking features.

In terms of make-up, the former Disney star worked a strong brow and smoky-eye look, with a bold outline of black liner and lashings of mascara. A sweep of bronzer added a sun-kissed glow to her complexion, while a red lip matched her t-shirt. Playfully sticking her tongue out at the camera, fans were quick to complement her look, with one describing her as: “Perfectly beautiful.”

Selena has been cementing a name for herself in the fashion world over the last few years. Last year, she was branded the face of Louis Vuitton’s Series 5 campaign, and in December, Coach confirmed her as their latest brand ambassador, seeing her sign a $10million deal with the fashion house.

Last month, Selena turned heads at Met Gala in New York when she graced the red carpet in a floor-length semi-sheer white Coach gown. The ultra-feminine design featured a show-stopping train and pretty embellishment detailing, which was accessorised with a gold choker. A fan of vibrant make-up, her look was completed with a bright pink sweep of pop eye-shadow and a touch of rose-hued blush.

Selena has previously opened up about her style transformation to Vogue. "Let's just say I wasn't always the [designers'] top choice," she told the fashion bible, adding that she likes her style to appear simple and easy. "I like to find things that are unconventional and make them look classic, because if I'm forcing something, you can just tell."
