Holly Willoughby wore a summer-ready striped dress on Monday’s This Morning – a design that has proved so popular with her fans, that it has very nearly sold out online. The stylish Marks & Spencer Linen Blend Striped Shift Dress retails at a purse-friendly £49.50, and features a flattering feminine tailored cut and a nautical-inspired striped pattern. After taking to Instagram to share with followers her outfit of the day, the dress was snapped up – with now only sizes 18 and 20 left in stock.

The mother-of-three likes to experiment with clothes and many of her favourite pieces are from the British high street, featuring bold prints in vibrant colours, along with many a A-line skirt and feminine blouse.
Last week, Holly worked another smart look, dressing her slim figure in a vintage denim shirt dress from popular British fashion brand, Boden. The ‘Sophia Shirt Dress’, which retails at £80 online, featured a flared midi skirt and short cap sleeves, and looked absolutely gorgeous on the star, who teamed it with a pair of nude, leg lengthening court shoes.

And this isn’t the first time that stores have seen their designs fly off the shelves after Holly has worn them. Last month, she showcased a gorgeous Phase Eight design on Instagram – the Riley ruffle dress. Phase Eight spokesperson Rebecca Davies said of her influential fashion choices: "Holly is a huge influence and people adore her style and really look to her for style inspiration. We saw our Riley ruffle sell very quickly."
We're all familiar with the 'Kate Middleton effect' but are we now experiencing the Holly Willoughby effect? It certainly looks that way.
