Carole Middleton looked fabulous in a light blue midi-dress as she joined her daughter, the Duchess of Cambridge and Prince William for the opening day of Royal Ascot on Tuesday. The striking design was by luxury British brand Goat, and retails for £520. With a sweetheart neckline and three-quarter length sleeves, the ‘Devon dress’ is described online as a “timeless piece” that is perfect for “transitioning into the Spring/Summer months.”
Carole kept with the theme of supporting British labels, opting to wear a pair of Emmy London shoes. Meanwhile, the proud mum recycled the hat she wore to her daughter’s royal wedding back in 2011 by Berkshire-based designer Jane Corbett. A cream clutch, miniature drop earrings and a pendant necklace worked as the perfect accessories.

Beauty-wise Carole wore her caramel-hued hair swept up in a sophisticated bun. In terms of make-up, she rocked a subtle smoky eye, outlining her eyes in a black liner and lashings of mascara. A sweep of bronzer and pink lipstick completed her look.
Carole looked a picture of happiness as she joined her eldest daughter at the annual event. Kate looked as elegant as ever in a beautiful white lace Alexander McQueen dress. The beautiful calf-length design - a bespoke number by the British fashion designer - featured a high neckline and a ribbon-style waistband.

The last time we saw Carole out at a public event was at her youngest daughter Pippa’s wedding to James Matthews back in May. Looking polished in a pale pink tailored coat teamed with a pair of nude Emmy London Olivia shoes and a matching Natasha clutch, Carole completed her look with a matching hat.

Carole is known for her classic style and over the years she has been captured in plenty of elegant, tailored numbers. At another important family occasion, the christening of her eldest grandchild, Prince George, in October 2013, the mother of the bride worked a lace-adorned royal blue coat by Catherine Walker & Co and another Jane Corbett hat – this time in dove-grey.
