Priyanka Chopra looked sensational as she graced the red carpet on Tuesday night to attend the New York premiere of The Defiant Ones. The stunning actress turned heads in an elegant all-black ensemble, featuring an oversized tailored jacket and a pair of sparkly wide-leg trousers. Beauty-wise, Priyanka showcased a short new hairstyle. The graduated bob was the perfect length for the Baywatch star – ensuring that all eyes were on her striking features.

In terms of make-up, she opted for a bold and beautiful look. Black liner, grey eyeshadow and lashings of mascara created the perfect smoky eye, which contrasted perfectly with a statement plum lip. It seems that Priyanka is a fan of wide-legged trousers at the moment – and rightly so.

Earlier in the month, she ensured all eyes were on her when she attended the CFDA awards in NYC wearing a striking jump suit. The sparkly one-piece enhanced her enviable figure with a patent black waist belt, and was teamed with a pair of leg-lengthening black sandals. This time, her hair was styled in a sleek up-do. A bold red lip completed her look beautifully.

Recently, Priyanka spoke exclusively to HELLO! about starring in Gap’s new campaign. Directed by British Vogue’s new editor-in-chief Edward Enninful, ‘Bridging the Gap’ aims to highlight diversity in the fashion industry. It also stars the likes of models Christie Brinkley, Adwoa Aboah and rapper Wiz Khalifa.

Opening up about the project, she told us: "It's really cool because the video's all about making connections and bringing people closer, instead of dividing people on the basis of what someone looks like or where they come from. It's about being part of a human community – and I think that the world really needs that right now. It's very important that we have this conversation, and make sure nobody can be shoved under a rug anymore."
