Catherine Zeta-Jones and Katie Holmes are without a doubt, two of the most best dressed Hollywood stars, so it comes as no surprise that the two women have similar taste when it comes to choosing footwear. This week, the stars took to their respective social media accounts, both showcasing their new Gucci graphic print trainers and giving us serious shoe envy in the process.
Over on Katie’s Instagram page, the 38-year-old posted a snap of her wearing the brand’s ultra-cool 'Blind For Love' trainers. The white leather design features a vibrant red lip motif adorned with the word 'Blind' on one shoe, and a speech bubble with the words 'For Love' embellished on the other. The fashion-forward shoes retail at £485, and looked incredibly cool indeed.

Catherine, meanwhile, opted for a very similar design with a slightly more sporty feel. Retailing at £640, the white leather lace ups feature red and navy stripes running down the sides of both shoes. One is embellished with a ‘25’ patch, while the other is decorated with a glitzy love heart applique. Catherine shared a stylish selfie with her new trainers on her own Instagram page, which she captioned: "Why is Gucci’s lucky number 25 too! Another pair of their divine sneakers added to my closet. #StyleByZeta."

Gucci’s retro-inspired new collection allows for shoppers to mix and match their own patches to create a fun, versatile look. Patches vary in price, from £160 for a colourful rainbow design to £240 for an embellished tiger head.
Both Katie and Catherine have daughters, who will no doubt be hoping to borrow their mum’s cool new shoes. Katie shares 11-year-old Suri with ex-husband Tom Cruise, and the duo recently enjoyed finding one-off finds in a New York vintage store together. It certainly seems as if Suri has had an eye for fashion from an early age too. Her proud mum has previously spoken out about her love for dressing up.
Meanwhile, Catherine is mum to Dylan, 17, and 14-year-old Carys, who is the double of her famous mum. Recently, the mother-daughter duo enjoyed a girls day out together at the Formula E races in New York. After sharing a photo of them standing side-by-side on social media, fans were quick to notice their similarities, with some even noting that they looked more like sisters.
