Rihanna has been owning the red carpet of late, wowing fashion onlookers with her show-stopping outfits as she tours the world promoting her new film, Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets. After turning heads in two enchanting Giambattista Valli Couture gowns in Hollywood and London, she switched things up a bit on Wednesday and opted for a head-turning Prada ensemble at the Paris premiere. The candy floss pink two-piece consisted of a matching bralette and midi skirt adorned with beaded tassels and ombre feathers. Rihanna’s fashion-forward look was completed with fluffy Charlotte Olympia heels, intricate rose drop earrings from Chopard and retro-inspired Cutler and Gross pink sunglasses.
Rihanna worked her magic yet again at the Paris premiere of Valerian
Beauty-wise, Rihanna, who plays Bubble in the movie, styled her long, brown hair in a half-up do which was swept back from her face, drawing attention to her pretty features. In terms of make-up, the 29-year-old dusted her eyelids with a pink shimmer eyeshadow and outlined the tops of her lids with a black liquid eyeliner and lashings of mascara to create the perfect cat eye. A natural foundation, sweep of rose-hued blush and a coral lip completed her look.
Rihanna was joined on the red carpet by co-star Cara
Rihanna posed on the red carpet in the French capital with her co-star Cara, who features as lead character Laureline in the much-anticipated film. Cara has been having fun with futuristic fashion looks during the premieres and looked fantastic in a glitzy Alexandre Vauthier couture maxi dress. The metallic silver number featured a plunging neckline, thigh-high split and box shoulder pads, and was tied with an oversized black belt. A pair of leg-lengthening strappy heels and vibrant red lipstick added the finishing touches to her outfit.
Just like Rihanna, Cara has been impressing fashion onlookers with her outfit choices as she promotes her new film. At the London photo call earlier on Monday afternoon, she turned heads yet again in another trouser suit. The classic cut Alexander Wang number was adorned with a chic grid pattern and teamed with black, leg-lengthening studded leather boots.
