Gucci's Alessandro Michele has kicked off a month-long takeover at luxury British department store Harrods.
The collaboration, which launched on Tuesday, includes an exclusive collection, DIY service and the debut of Alessandro's first fragrance for women, Gucci Bloom.
The Harrods Gucci collaboration is garden themed
"This Harrods Gucci collaboration allows our customers the rare opportunity to challenge their own personal creativity with the same eclectic spirit that Alessandro Michele has brought to fashion over the past few seasons," Harrods' chief merchant Helen David told Vogue. "Gucci aficionados will be able to personalise their own statement items, from bags and shoes to all facets of ready-to-wear, in the ultimate interactive design experience within the Gucci Garden at Harrods."
Gucci's House DIY initiative brings the complete Gucci DIY offering to the U.K. for the first time, and fashion fans will be able to add decorative patches to select purchases to give products a personal touch.
The garden-themed takeover can also be seen in the store's famous window displays, with the 16 units featuring Gucci goods.

"This is a true world-first exclusive, bringing together the best of Gucci fashion and beauty at Harrods," David continued. "We know our customers will be so excited by this partnership and we cannot wait for them to have fun immersing themselves in the whole Harrods Gucci experience letting their imaginations and creative streaks run wild."
Gucci shoppers will also be able to snap up pieces from the exclusive new clothes collection and jewellery line, as well as childrenswear and accessories.
Gucci Bloom rolls out in boutiques from mid-August.
