The talented designer took fans on a virtual tour around her atelier

Victoria Beckham has been enjoying the summer holidays with her family in LA, but she now back at work in London to prepare for New York Fashion. On Wednesday, the talented designer posted a behind-the-scenes video from her studio on her Instagram account, giving fans a glimpse inside her working environment. In the footage, the former Spice Girl is videoed walking up countless flights of stairs in the modern, minimalist building, before being greeted by fellow designers on the top floor, where pattern cutters hard at work are in view, surrounded by rows of clothes.

Looking chic with her newly-cut bob, Victoria is dressed in a crisp white shirt, which she tucked into a pair of her iconic elongated cigarette trousers. A pair of oversized aviators completed her look.

The businesswoman transferred her skills from singing to designing in 2008. Her fashion empire has grown and Victoria is now famed for her eponymous clothes label as well as her secondary diffusion line Victoria, Victoria Beckham. Famous fans of her label include her close friend Eva Longoria and fellow A-listers Gwyneth Paltrow, Sienna Miller and Blake Lively. Back in April, Victoria, 43, was recognised for her services to the fashion industry, and was awarded an OBE from Prince William.

And far from seeing herself as a boss, Victoria explained that she prefers to "work together" with her team for a collaborative effort. While chatting to The Sunday Times back in March, she said, "It's about empowering your team. Yes it's about being firm but it's also about allowing them to be free, especially when you work in a creative industry. If you empower people and make them feel like the best version of themselves, that's how people give you their best work."
