Primark has unveiled a gorgeous new selection of transitional jackets on their Instagram account, just in time for the impending autumn weather. Priced at a purse-pinching £25, the two designs come in black and khaki hues, and feature a high neck collar, a studded waist belt, front pockets and metallic buttons to fasten. With a wax-look finish, the coats bear a striking resemblance to Barbour's £229 belted utility waxed jacket– but at a fraction of the price. Sold on stores including Cristal Ladieswear, the Barbour design comes in Olive, and also features pockets, metallic buttons, a waist zip and high neck collar, and is finished off with a stylish tartan lining.

This isn’t the first time Primark has taken inspiration from other popular fashion labels. Earlier in the month, the high street favourite revealed its new summer footwear range online, which included a pair of £12 blue elasticated trainers. The running shoes looked just like Nike's 'Free Rn Commuter 2017' design, which retail at £94.95, but are currently in the sale for just £62.97. Back in June, meanwhile, they stocked a £10 red stiletto that took inspiration from luxury shoe designer Gianvito Rossi's £550 'Portofino sandals'.

Throughout the year, Primark have constantly been impressing fans with its selection of fashionable stock, which has ranged from must-have beauty products to an ultra-cute mini-me range for mothers and daughters. It has also been wowing with a magical selection of Disney merchandise, and most recently, a Harry Potter themed collection, that includes homeware and a clothing range.

Earlier in the week, Primark finally set the record straight on how to pronounce its name after years of shoppers debating whether it is called "Pry-mark" or "Pree-mark." The correct answer was confirmed on the Customer Service section of the store's website in a box titled: "How do you pronounce Primark?" Which was then confirmed to be "Pre-Eye-Mark."
