As you may have seen in this month’s issue of Hello! Fashion Monthly, we are in love with the Superga x Charlotte Simone collaboration which is released this week. Charlotte Simone, the British accessories designer known for her furry playful take on accessories, including the popsicle scarf, which have adorned the high street for a while. Now, however, we're sure we will be seeing them everywhere on people’s feet too!
The collection features three designs all with Charlotte’s signature fluff in some capacity, from sliders to full platform trainers in your choice of candy colours that seriously scream back to the 90s. We caught up with Charlotte to see how such a perfectly suited collaboration came about and what inspires her to make these furry creations.
So! How did such the collaboration with Superga come about?
I’ve always been a trainer girl, constantly on the move in my sneakers and Superga has always been a wardrobe staple for me. This collaboration with them is a real pinch me moment!
What inspired these particular trainer designs?
A nod to the 90s, definitely. I wanted the sneakers to feel fun and nostalgic and flatforms with fuzzy details and rainbow soles definitely do this! They are the perfect shoes to stomp around in and have fun in.
How do you style your fluffy sneakers?
With denim jeans or a little dress. You can wear them however you want!

Do you have a favourite trainer?
My favourite has to be the slider because it’s a fur lined slipper that is acceptable to wear streetside – how can you not love that? Also, the slider comes with a number of laces that you can interchange, love hearts, rainbows, you can make them your own!
Your designs have been hugely successful with the A Listers – Olivia Palermo, Bella Hadid, Sienna Miller, etc. – who would you love to see wearing this collaboration?
Would love to see Lena Dunham in a pair of Superga sliders, I’m such a fan! [Shout out to Lena, get yourself a pair of these!]
